      Lithium Battery Upgrade 3.0 - Installation

      Here we will outline the steps required to install the new Lithium batteries into your 3.0 trailer.

       

      WARNING : Ensure all power is off to the trailer and unplug from shore power

      Instructions:

      Shut off the power to the whole trailer (disconnect the breakers).

      Remove the front cover of the battery box.

      Undo the screws inside the cabinet at the top of the battery box.

      Inside the battery box you will need to disconnect the batteries from the positive and negative cables, then the old ones should be free.

      Reinstall new Lithium batteries in reverse and connect the terminal cables and plugs as outlined in this video: 

       

       

      How to configure your Advanced Lithium with the Inverter/Charger combo on your OGT trailer.

      • NOTE: the advanced lithium batteries REQUIRE the Xantrex 1000/2000 inverter/charger combo AND require to program the Lithium Charge Profile:
        • To enter configuration mode on the Xantrex
          • Press and Hold the OK button for 3-5 seconds
          • Using the up arrow, scroll to option #20 (battery type)
          • Press the OK button, then select "LFP", then up arrow, followed by OK to save
          • Press the ESC button to exit the configuration mode
      • NOTE: refer to the Xantrex Freedom XC manual
