Pando 3.0, Expedition 3.0 and Sprocket X - How to remove the battery front cover plate.
In this article we will go through the steps to remove the battery front cover panel on the Pando 3.0 , Expedition 3.0 and Sprocket X
As of early 2026, we have re-designed the battery tray to resemble the 2.0 design more. This new version is only compatible with LiFePO4 batteries, and is much simpler to disassemble.
Caution: Always use caution when removing parts from the trailer to avoid damage
Tools required: Philips Screwdriver, Plastic pry tool
Estimated time: 5 minutes
Remove all screws as shown in the pictures.


Once all Phillip screws are removed, pull cove plate off. The seal could make it hard to pull off, use a plastic prying tool between the cover plate and front storage box.

Once the cover plate is off, the battery terminals and power buttons (Lithium only) can be accessed.
