What to do if you experience minor leaks the first few times your awning is subjected to rain.
It is normal for some of the needle holes to leak during the first few times your awning is subjected to water. It shouldn't be a "major leak". The threads will swell and eventually fill the needle holes.
Example A
As an owner you can proactively speed up this process by spraying the seams with a hose to mimic rainfall this will expedite the “priming” process.
If you need a quick fix, OGT would recommend applying a water repellent spray or seam sealer.
Example B
Seeing initial use water penetration is extremely normal not only with 23Zero but with all awning manufacturers.
