Truma CP Plus (control panel error codes) Troubleshooting Tips & Tricks for your OGT

Tips & Tricks

  • Most Common Failure Causes:
    • Error codes are displayed on the unit as below - refer to guide above for all troubleshooting 
      • E= error
      • 2= error code
      • H= appliance
        • H=VarioHeat
        • W=AquaGo
    • Propane line air lock
      • Step 1
        • open the propane tank first
        • Turn on stove burners (all) and allow to run
        • turn on heater and furnace; if not resolved proceed to Step 2
      • Step 2 
    • Lack of Propane - Ensure LP tank is full and free of air locks
    • Gas supply empty - turn on gas valve on LP bottle
    • Appliance switch is OFF - turn on appliance switch (vario heat and aquago)
    • Fresh water supply is OFF - ensure water tank valves are not set to winterizing mode
    • Gas supply pressure is low <10.5" water column
      • your dual stage regulator is set to 13.5" water column do NOT change
    • Water leaking from unit/cabinet - Ensure the filter cartridge is inserted correctly see above

Truma VarioHeat (Furnace) Troubleshooting Tips & Tricks for your OGT

Tips & Tricks

  • Most Common Failure Causes:
    • Safety feature is activated:

    • Propane line air lock
      • Step 1
        • open the propane tank first
        • Turn on stove burners (all) and allow to run
        • turn on heater and furnace; if not resolved proceed to Step 2
      • Step 2 
    • Lack of Propane - Ensure LP tank is full and free of air locks
    • Gas supply empty - turn on gas valve on LP bottle
    • Appliance switch is OFF - turn on appliance switch
      • the vario heat unit is located in the upper interior storage cabinet
    • Fresh water supply is OFF - ensure water tank valves are not set to winterizing mode
    • Gas supply pressure is low <10.5" water column
      • your dual stage regulator is set to 13.5" water column do NOT change
    • Water leaking from unit/cabinet - Ensure the filter cartridge is inserted correctly see above

Truma AquaGo (On Demand Water Heater) Troubleshooting Tips & Tricks for your OGT

Tips & Tricks

  • Your OGT unit is delivered without the Water Heater Filter Cartridge install because every unit is delivered winterized regardless of the season/delivery date for system safety in all conditions
    • Important!
      • You Must ensure the unit is switched to the ON position
  • Most Common Failure Causes:
    • Propane line air lock
      • Step 1
        • open the propane tank first
        • Turn on stove burners (all) and allow to run
        • turn on heater and furnace; if not resolved proceed to Step 2
      • Step 2 
    • Lack of Propane - Ensure LP tank is full and free of air locks
